One of the fundamental aspects of weight loss is ensuring that hormone balance is at an optimal level in the body. If we are not getting fat into our body then we are seriously limiting the effectiveness of the cells within the body, as our cells are less permeable to hormone entry without it.

It is VERY important to remember however that fat is the most calorie dense of the macronutrients, with 9kcals per 1g of fat consumed and therefore must be consumed in the correct amounts in order to mean you are not going over on your daily calorie intake and gain weight!
